I have been blissfully married to my husband for 10 years. We are the proud parents of the most adorable baby girl!
I’m a writer and editor of educational materials. I have my own company called In a Word Educational Consulting, Inc. The irony of the name (and the name of this blog) is that “In a Word” means to keep it brief. I never keep anything brief.
I would love to write children’s books someday.
I’m addicted to scrapbooking, but not the kind of addicted that compels me to wear “I Love Scrapbooking” t-shirts or to put “Scrapbooking is My Life” bumper stickers on my car. I just like the feeling of knowing that I am creating lasting memories for my daughter.
I am the youngest of four children. I am a spoiled brat. I am controlling. I am OCD about a lot of things. I can admit to all of these! Yet I am also a very loyal wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I think that makes up for it.
You forgot to add that you can give Vanna White a run for her money, that you can hold a tivo with one hand and that you have very pretty curls!
OOH! Thanks for including that important information, Amber! *wink*
JUSTINE! YOU HAVE A BLOG!
Ahem. Now. Why don’t you write children’s books now?
Therese (also my sister’s nickname but a diff spelling)-
Thanks for visiting!
Top 5 Reasons why I don’t write children’s books now:
5) I am so busy writing for my “regular” job that I don’t have time.
4) In order to get published, you either have to know someone or be ridiculously talented like J.K. Rowling.
3) I don’t necessarily have any good ideas right now. As a matter of fact, I don’t have any ideas right now.
2) I need an illustrator. Know of any?
1) Why write children’s books when I can blog instead?
